Welcome to Dance Aid!

 

Jess Solomon- Principal of Backstage Dance Academy- established Dance Aid in 2014 to raise much needed funds for child related charities. 

 

In August 2014, Dance Aid held their first fundraising event, raising $5223.00 for the MAKE A WISH foundation!

 

In August 2015, Dance Aid raised $5500.00 for the MAKE A WISH foundation!

In August 2016, Dance Aid raised $6026.50 for the MAKE A WISH foundation!

​

In July 2017, Dance Aid raised $8238.58 for the MAKE A WISH foundation!

​

In June 2018, Dance Aid raised $8,261.77 for the MAKE A WISH foundation!

​

In July 2019, Jess Solomon passed this event over to Sarah Oliver- (Principal of Beat 87 Dance Academy & Pointe Perfection Podiatry)- $21,030.74 was raised

In 2022- $23, 884.91 was raised for Make-A-Wish Australia

​

in 2023- $18,362.69 was raised for Make-A-Wish- Australia

 

This event brings together studios from all over Melbourne & Victoria, as they showcase their talent and raise funds for a wonderful cause.

 

You can expect a fantastic evening of entertainment, fun and giveaways, where dancers join together in a non-competitive and supportive environment.
