​​Jess Solomon (Principal of Backstage Dance Academy) established Dance Aid

in 2014 to raise much needed funds for child related charities. 

 

In August 2014, Dance Aid held their first fundraising event, raising $5223.00

for the MAKE A WISH foundation!

 

2015, Dance Aid raised $5500.00

2016, Dance Aid raised $6026.50

​

2017, Dance Aid raised $8238.58

​

2018, Dance Aid raised $8,261.77

​

In July 2019, Jess Solomon passed this event over to Sarah Oliver 

(Principal of Beat 87 Dance Academy & Pointe Perfection Podiatry)

$21,030.74 was raised

2022, Dance Aid raised $23, 884.91

2023, Dance Aid raised $18,362.69

​

2024, Dance Aid raised $21,023.36

2025, Dance Aid raised $22,310.44

 

This event brings together studios from all over Melbourne & Victoria,

as they showcase their talent and raise funds for a wonderful cause.

 

You can expect a fantastic evening of entertainment, fun and giveaways,

where dancers join together in a non-competitive and supportive environment.
