About Dance Aid

Studios from all over Melbourne and Victoria, sharing one stage to raise money for Make-A-Wish Australia since 2014.

Two dancers in black leotards perform a split leap on a dark stage, with a large screen displaying “DANCE AID” and a star behind them, while an audience is visible in the foreground. Dance Aid 2025

Our story since 2014

Jess Solomon (Principal of Backstage Dance Academy) established Dance Aid in 2014 to raise much needed funds for child related charities.

In July 2019, Jess passed the event over to Sarah Oliver (Principal of Beat 87 Dance Academy & Pointe Perfection Podiatry).

Dance Aid brings together studios from all over Melbourne and Victoria as they showcase their talent and raise funds for a wonderful cause. You can expect a fantastic day of entertainment, fun and giveaways, where dancers join together in a non-competitive and supportive environment.
